Doing my eyebrows is one of my least favourite makeup chores, but it’s SO needed. I have really light, thin eyebrows that look half invisible if I don’t use something on them to help define my look a little. Plus having turquoise hair at the moment means doing my brows is extra tricky.
I’ve had trouble in the past finding a cool/ashy toned brown powder I can use (warmer tones look awful on me), and even if I find one I’m happy with I’m not the best at shaping them to be honest.
I recently tried out Fab Brows Brow Kit* in Dark Brown, and found it so helpful for a novice like me! Each kit comes with a set of six stencils, magnifying mirror and a duo applicator brush. The stencils are easily the best part; I simply had my chosen shape over my brow and applied the powder as guided. It made everything SO easy. I can’t usually visualise how I need my brows to look, so this is perfect for me!
I still think I should have gone for a slightly darker shade maybe, but the powder itself was great! It claims to be smudge proof and water resistant, and I certainly didn’t notice any loss in the rain, thankfully!
So I’m still on the hunt for the perfect shade, but that’s partly my fault having an unusual colour of hair. The kit itself is FAB though (har har, see what I did there?) and I’ll definitely be using the stencils again and again. Yay!
